Sulphadiazine 20% + Trimethoprim 4% Injection

Composition
Each ml contains:
Sulphadiazine………..200mg
Trimethoprim…………..40mg

Indications
Indicated in the treatment of wide range of diseases of bacterial origin. Particularly effective in the infectious respiratory, urogenital and alimentary tracts.
The combination of Sulfadiazine Sodium and Trimethoprim acts synergistic and usually bactericidal against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like E. Coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by TMP and Sulfadiazine sensitive bacteria in Livestock.

Dosage and Administration
For intramuscular injection:
Livestock: for one single dose, initial dose 1ml /10kg body weight, twice a day, continue for 2-3 days.

Withdrawal Time
For meat: 12 days
For milk: 4 days
